Ok Rachel D, and Rachel M, I'm finally updating!!
Well, alot has changed over the month, and I couldn't be happier with those changes. First, I've moved home. There's only so much clutter I can take, and living at home is allowing me to take care of a few expenses, and save for next semester. Second, I was accepted to nursing school! I am so excited to be getting my plans on a roll. They are really starting to take shape, and I can see that everything is going to work out; God willing.
My plans are these:
Get accepted to nursing (check)
Move to Daytona Beach
Start school successfully
Study for my classes and be successful!
Plan our wedding (I've still got quite some time on that one)
I think that these goals are very attainable, and hopefully next year, my main plan will be to get a job and finish my prerequisites for my BSN.
Today I was hoping to find someone to work for me so I could celebrate my sister's birthday, but unfortunately we are understaffed at Benton House. I'm hoping some day, I can get some help for my 3-11 shift...fingers are crossed!!

Oh happy day!
Last night, I had the strangest dream about being at some type of convention, and then I drew a fantastic dinosaur that everyone was impressed with. I was quite proud of my dinosaur when all of a sudden, in my dream, my phone was beeping, but I couldn't answer it! To my surprise, it was beeping in real life. The best part was that it said "hi, you should chat with me on skype." I was so glad to hear from Alex today because it was the first time in two days I'd had any type of correspondence with him. It really made my day. He makes me happier than anyone I've ever met, and I think every day about how magnificent it will be to come home every day to him.
After I was done chatting, I cleaned my room, and it was a success! My room is no longer cluttered! I also went out to find that my friend had found kittens under my house. What a strangely happy day.
After I played with the cutest kittens, I went to work. Work went well also! The only thing that went wrong today was that I'm getting sick...but that can be fixed with nyquil. That's all I have for today.

Silly girl and her superstions...
So today, when I woke up, I felt really down for some reason. I felt like I was insignificant, and lonely. Pretty pathetic. I decided to get up, and make something of the day, and get over feeling sorry for myself. So I took a shower, did my makeup, did my hair, and it made me feel 100% better! It's amazing what a shower can do for your self esteem.
I went to the meeting at work. Every payday, we have to meet for updates, new rules, things we're doing wrong etc. We also have to be there, because if we miss two meetings, we will be terminated. I value my job, so that's the main reason I go. It went pretty well, nothing extremely exciting...
After I went to the meeting, I went to the public library and studied for 4 hours! I really surprised myself, because before I knew it, the lady was coming over the intercom saying "we're closing in 30 minutes." Wow. I was studying quite diligently for my french test. When I got there...it was to translate. I studied all that time, to do a test that maybe I could've done decently on last week. At least I got ahead, and will do well next week...
I then went to my parent's house, and watched "Ghost Hunters", and "Ghost Whisperer." I am so good at creeping myself out! It doesn't help that I've convinced myself that I'm being followed by a ghost. Here's my reasoning:
A.) I've had 4 strange experiences
1.) twice, I've smelt a strong cologne right before I go to sleep
2.) twice, owls, have swooped down, perched and then stared right at me
B.) Owls are associated with ghosts.
1.) It is said that owls are the only creatures that will live with ghosts. If an owl is the only one in a abandoned house, the house is said to be haunted.
2.) It is also said that owls are magical creatures.
I'm sure that I'm just being silly, but at the same time, gives me the creeps!
Tomorrow, I work again. I know it'll be a good day.

My First Blog
So, I've started a blog, not only because I think it'll help me be more motivated and remember what I'm supposed to be doing, but also give Alex an update on what I'm doing with my days. Pretty exciting I know...
Today, I wanted to wake up at 8:00, because this past week I've been sleeping in too late. If I stay in bed past 11:00, I feel that I've wasted the best part of the day! I've missed the morning sunshine, the breakfast food time, and the nice weather in the morning. I don't think I'll be taking off a week any more. I like to try to stay busy, and make time go faster.
Last week, I got my application for nursing done and turned in, which has turned out to be a huge stress reliever. My latest stress however is what my financial state will be in January. I will hopefully be starting nursing (which is fantastic) but will have to pay rent, dental bill, phone bill, food, gas, blah blah blah. Welcome to the real world Ellen.
I also felt quite motivated today. I turned in my late video, and made my exciting dentist appointment for Monday. No more flipper for me! I also made a trip to Verizon, and found out that I am in fact not scatter brained. Last time I was in there, I put a freeze on Alex's phone, and brought the orders so I wouldn't have to pay a cancellation fee. The man at the desk told me that I would have to mail them to "someone" within the next 30 days, or we would be charged a cancellation fee. Turns out, there is no one that I need to mail them to! I didn't forget the person who was supposed to recieve the orders because there's no one there!
Now I'm at home, and I'm going to be working today. I enjoy my job very much, because it's a change from regular people. That's the only way I can think of to put it. People from 60 years ago have a different way of talking to each other and me. It's easy for me to be friendly, whereas I find myself getting very annoyed at the fidgety people at the gas station, cell phone store, and anywhere else I go; and I think I'm a pretty tolerant person.
That's all I have to say for today. Let's see how tomorrow goes!
